Mexico City, Mexico - International market development organization based in Washington, DC is recruiting a Country Director to work in the Mexico City, Mexico office. The U.S. Grains Council director in Mexico is responsible for evaluating, planning, coordinating, and executing the Council’s market development programs for feed grains and co-products – including ethanol in Mexico. Program areas will include but not be limited to, marketing, trade servicing and government relations program. Position is based in Mexico City, Mexico; international travel required.

Desired Qualifications: Ability to formulate a strong strategic plan for increasing sales of corn, barley and sorghum and their co-products – including ethanol to Mexico. Ability to develop key contacts in Mexico’s feed and fuel industries. Active assessment of market opportunities and ability to influence key decision makers in both the government and trade sectors. University degree in an agriculture field preferred. Fluency in Spanish and in English is required.
